Use controlled laser passes to lift compatible paint and coatings from suitable surfaces without blasting media or chemical stripping agents.
Prepare classic car and motorcycle parts, tools, antiques, ironwork, and compatible kitchen or household cabinets by removing paint or coatings for the next stage of restoration.
Remove rust, coating and surface contamination from compatible metal before welding, coating or refinishing.
Laser cleaning removes unwanted surface layers without spent blasting grit or chemical stripping agents. Each project gets its own setup, with settings matched to the substrate, access and finish you want to preserve.

Iron Fox Restoration is a locally owned, family-owned business based in Gunnison, Utah. We chose laser cleaning because restoration deserves control: remove the unwanted layer, respect the surface underneath and prepare the piece for what comes next.
Our mobile service area includes Gunnison, Manti, Ephraim, Mt. Pleasant, Richfield, Salina and Nephi, with nearby Central Utah projects reviewed by location.
Laser cleaning is not right for every surface. Delicate or unknown finishes can react unpredictably, and hazardous coatings such as old lead paint require identification and the correct safety plan. We evaluate and test first; if the job cannot be handled safely, we will not proceed.
Laser cleaning can reach detailed shapes and stubborn surface layers without the spent grit left behind by abrasive blasting.

Short pulses of laser energy target the unwanted surface layer and lift it away as the operator moves across the work area. Settings are matched to the material, coating and desired finish.
Laser cleaning can be tuned to target contamination while preserving a compatible surface underneath. We inspect the item and test a small area first, especially with delicate, unknown or layered finishes.
Steel, iron and many other metals are strong candidates. Other materials require a project review and test area to confirm that the substrate and unwanted layer respond safely.
Timing depends on size, shape, access, buildup thickness and the finish you want. We estimate the time after reviewing clear photos and project details.
Quotes are project-specific because surface area, material, contamination, travel and access affect the work. Minimum job / starting at: [ADD YOUR PRICE HERE]. Send dimensions, location and clear photos for an initial estimate.
Clear nearby clutter and make the work area accessible. Tell us about known coatings, repairs or sensitive finishes. We’ll confirm ventilation, power and access needs before the appointment.
Correct settings can remove the unwanted layer while preserving suitable metal underneath. We evaluate the substrate, coating and desired finish, then test a small area before full cleaning.
Laser cleaning offers precise control and leaves no spent blasting media. Sandblasting can still be the better fit for some large areas or heavy surface profiles, so the right choice depends on the job.
Compatible paint can be removed from many classic car and motorcycle parts. We review the metal, coating, part geometry and finish you want before recommending the approach.
We’re inviting a limited number of founding customers to help build the first Iron Fox project stories with real work and real results.
Selected first projects can receive a discounted or complimentary initial cleaning in exchange for permission to photograph the project before and after. No stock projects. No borrowed transformations—only documented Iron Fox work.
Have something rusty, painted, stained or covered in stubborn buildup? Send us a few photos and basic details. We’ll review the project and help determine whether laser cleaning is a good fit.
